News and Commentary Web Conference Recording: Aligning Interprofessional Education And Collaborative Practice

Thank you to all who joined us on April 18 when we discussed recommendations from our new report, Transforming Patient Care: Aligning Interprofessional Education with Clinical Practice Redesign. The online forum gave participants the opportunity to discuss the new recommendations for linking interprofessional education with clinical practice redesign to promote team-based care.

The recommendations stemmed from Macy’s January 2013 meeting, and conference co-chairs Mary Naylor, PhD, FAAN, RN, University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and Malcolm Cox, MD, US Department of Veterans Affairs joined George E. Thibault, MD, President of the Macy Foundation to discuss how educational institutions and healthcare systems can begin to implement these changes.

A recording from the April 18 discussion is available below.
