Our goal is to bring you and your fellow awardees together as a cohort to connect with peers, share your work, and engage in meaningful discussions about your key issues in graduate medical education and the clinical learning environment.

Located downtown in the heart of the Historic Gaslamp Quarter, Pendry San Diego is just blocks from a variety of restaurants, bars, nightlife, beaches, shopping, and more!
Guest rooms will be provided for you at no expense on the night of Wednesday, February 18, 2026. You will be responsible for incidents and any additional nights you plan to stay at the hotel. There is no fee for the conference, which provides lunch and dinner. You will request your room during the registration process. Please do not contact the hotel directly, as we will be submitting a rooming list.
Subject to availability and approval, you may request additional nights up to 1 day before and after the meeting.
The Pendry is a 13-minute ride from the San Diego International Airport. Taxis and Ubers are available to assist in your arrival and departure.
Our convening is scheduled one day before the ACGME’s Annual Education Conference, which is also being held in San Diego on February 19-21, 2026. We are pleased to announce that the ACGME has graciously agreed to cover your registration costs for its 3-day meeting.
By October, Tori Goodwin will send you a separate link to register for the ACGME Annual Educational Conference. Once you are registered through their system, you will receive an email to book your accommodations for this conference. The event will take place February 19-21, 2026, at the San Diego Convention Center and Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina.

Yes. Anyone planning to attend the meeting needs to register through the link sent by Tori Goodwin via email.

How do I make my room reservation?
Answer:
You will need to request your room reservation during registration. Please do not contact the hotel directly. We will provide a rooming list to the hotel based on the requests. You will receive your confirmation number approximately 1 week prior to the meeting.

The Pendry does not offer an airport shuttle. Options for getting to and from the hotel include:

Who covers the cost of my hotel room and airfare?
Answer:
Your hotel will be paid for the night of February 16. The Macy Foundation will also reimburse you for the coach airfare and ground transportation costs. Please save your receipts and submit a travel expense form after the conclusion of the meeting. You will be responsible for all other travel fees, incidentals, and additional nights at the hotel, unless your plane travel options necessitate additional nights. There is no registration fee, which includes all provided meals.

For the health and safety of all of those attending the meeting, we are requiring that all participants be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID. While we are not requiring participants to wear a face mask, we welcome those who wish to do so and will have masks available at the meeting. Rapid tests will be available at the meeting for those who wish to test.
